ƐVoceN3 (2019) Trailer

ƐVoceN3 (2019) Trailer

conception and choreography: Danielle Davidson in collaboration with Jessica Howard and Mary Teuscher

Music: "Tibetan Nocturne'' and 'Ancient Spirit's Sing' by Chuck Jonkey, 'Marmol'' by Murcof, and ''Tick of the Clock'' by The Chromatics. -conception and editing by Danielle Davidson and Gabriel Luxton.

ƐVoceN3 grapples with mortality, saṃsāra, and the use/misuse of ritual. It explores thematic ideas such as cause and effect, transformation and entrenched psychological and physiological patterns. The work is interested in the process of self/other connection and healing. The storytelling expresses itself through text, sound, and meditative movement.

When we inhabit the whole internal space of the body, the constructed, protective barrier between internal and external experience dissolves. We are in our body, and our body is completely permeable; we are alive within our individual form at the same time as we become permeable to the space, the universe, in and around us, as one whole
